Opengear cm4048
From PrgmrWiki
first, the useful bits of docs are here: ftp://ftp.opengear.com/manual/IMG-IM-CM4000%20User%20Manual3.4.pdf start reading on page 208. the rest of it is gui garbage
second, pinouts. OpenGear seems to prefer straight through cables. here is the pinout for a rj45->db9 to put a server on the OpenGear, assuming you are using a straight through cable. (I'm considering standardizing on rollover cables for compatibility with YOST, but that might add to the confusion)
1 -> black 2 -> red 3 -> green 4 -> brown 5 -> yellow 6 -> orng 7 -> blue 8 -> white (grey on the Frys adaptors)

So, to wire a db9->rj45:
rj45 db9 1 8 2 4 (green is also 4) 4 3 5 2 6 5 7 1 and 6 (we call it 1) 8 7
